Sex toy review: Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand Massager
Easytoys has another new brand: Rosy Gold! As it happens I’m very fond of rose gold. Most of the toys in this line combine the rose gold with black, but some are just rose gold. Either way, I think they all look really lovely. I was given the Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand Massager and the Rosy Gold Nouveau G-Spot vibrator, but in this review I’m only talking about the wand. Packaging and contents
I love this look. The packaging looks really cool too, I think. Black with a nice rose gold print. It looks hip and chic. In the box you’ll find the wand vibrator, the USB charging cable, a fun door hanger and the instructions. As sadly happens all too often, these instructions contain quite a bit of nonsense as well. Among other things, that you can’t use silicone lubricant with condoms. No idea why this information is even in the instructions for a sex toy, but it’s also just not true. Such a shame!
The look & specs of the Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand
The wand itself looks lovely. The handle is rose gold, made of ABS plastic, and the head is black silicone. The buttons are black silicone too. There’s a power button and a plus and minus button. The Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand has ten settings, five of which are steady. Yay to that, because five steady settings is more than most vibrators have, and that really makes me happy.
Rumbly!
When I turned the wand on, I got even happier. What good vibrations! I was really impressed. Now, it doesn’t start on the softest level, and usually that still leads to disappointment. But not with this wand vibrator! Because those softer levels, they have even deeper vibrations! Here the word rumbly really fits; it really does describe best the feeling this magic wand vibrator gives!
Full power
After feeling this on my hand, I of course couldn’t wait to test it. I quickly popped it on the charger, to make sure I’d really have the full power. Sex toys often come partly charged, but I always like to charge them fully. Nothing is as annoying as when you’re just getting into it and the battery suddenly dies!
Lube it up!
With a wand vibrator I always like to use a bit of lubricant. Because the head is silicone, you’re better off not using a silicone-based lubricant with it. I used Pjur Woman Nude, because it feels so lovely and soft.

I’m still not a big fan of vibration modes, but sometimes I do like them. And so there are a fair few modes here that I like as well. Mostly because the vibrations are just so awesome and so deep. Well, I think everything about this Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand is just amazing! I’m just a real fan!
Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand vs. Lelo Smart Wand Large
I’m also a real fan of the Lelo Smart Wand Large. When it comes to cordless wand vibrators I think that’s really the best. But this Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand comes really close. And it’s roughly € 100 cheaper than the Lelo Smart Wand Large. Hello, that’s quite a difference!
But this wand isn’t whisper-quiet. Most wand vibrators aren’t. For a wand vibrator with such powerful, deep vibrations, I think the noise isn’t bad at all. But if you’re after something very quiet, then you’ll (sadly!) have to skip this Rosy Gold Nouveau Wand. In that case you’re better off going for the Lelo Smart Wand after all, because that one is quieter.
