The Lovense Domi 2 is a wand vibrator you can control with an app. Which is of course what Lovense is known for. I received this remote controlled wand vibrator from Easytoys.

The packaging and the contents
Lovense packaging is not much different from (almost) all other sex toy packaging. A white box with a photo of the toy and information about the toy on the back. It is a sturdy box, though, so you could easily keep your sex toy in it.
In the packaging you find the Lovense Domi 2 itself, of course, a black satin storage pouch (I do not understand why this is not a nicer pouch, by the way), the charging cable, a quick start guide and a manual. Nicely complete, then.
My first impression of the Lovense Domi 2
The Lovense Domi 2 is a reasonably small wand vibrator. Or actually I should say medium-size, because it is just a bit bigger than small wand vibrators. It feels fairly heavy, which immediately makes it feel like a solid wand as well. Quite funny that the packaging says this is a lightweight toy. That is not how it feels to me.
The head is silicone and feels lovely and soft. The neck (the part below the head) is quite flexible. The Lovense wand sits nicely in the hand. It has two buttons, an up and a down button. Those are easy to feel and to tell apart when you cannot see them.
What is nice is that the silver-coloured ring suddenly turns into a glowing ring when you switch the Domi 2 on, with coloured lights! Lovely surprise!
The differences between the Lovense Domi 1 and the Lovense Domi 2
Now, I do not have a Lovense Domi 1 myself, but of course I did look into what the differences are. The Lovense Domi 2 has a much longer battery life. You can use it three times as long as the Domi 1. It lasts around five to six hours on a full charge.
The Domi 2 also has a better aerial, which makes it easier to connect to the wand and means you lose the connection less quickly.
And finally the design of the Domi 2 has been tweaked a little, so it now sits even more comfortably in the hand.
Testing the Lovense Domi 2
I had of course used other Lovense toys before, but not yet a wand from Lovense, so I was very curious. I used a bit of Sliquid lubricant. That is a nice water-based lubricant (which is compatible with silicone toys) without irritating ingredients. Even with sex toys you only use externally, such as wand vibrators, lubricant really is worth recommending.
When I switched the Domi 2 on, I was immediately impressed by the vibrations. They are so deep, really awesome. And that was only setting one! If you find vibrations too much quite quickly, you are better off giving the Lovense Domi 2 a miss. But if you are like me and you love powerful vibrations, this is definitely going to make you happy.
Setting two is a whole lot harder straight away. Striking, because with setting one being that powerful I had not expected this. Between settings two and three there is rather less difference again. But between settings one and two it is a big step.
When you use the wand without the app there are, unfortunately, only three steady settings. I do find that rather few for a wand vibrator in this price bracket. Especially when I feel how much difference there is between settings one and two, I think this vibrator would have been better with five steady settings, so the steps would be a bit smaller. The standard vibration patterns are fine. I did not find them spectacular, but then I am not a pattern fan. It is good that they are there.
The Lovense Domi 2 and the Lovense Remote app
I am of the opinion that if you have a Lovense sex toy, you really ought to use it with the Lovense Remote app as well. The buttons work fine, of course, but in the app you have so many more possibilities.
Connecting with the Lovense app went really easily for me every time. Keeping the connection was trouble-free as well.
You can control it live yourself by swiping. That gives you far more than three steady settings and the steps are not so big. In fact there are no steps, because the transition is gradual. You can also make your own vibration patterns, or download other people’s. Personally I am hopeless at making vibration patterns, but other people are clearly good at it. Really surprising sometimes, I love it. You just have to ignore the weird names some people give their pattern.
And of course you can also have the Lovense Domi 2 controlled remotely by someone else. In the Lovense Remote app that all goes fairly simply and smoothly. And of course that is hugely exciting! It does not matter where the other person is. Whether they are lying next to you in bed or on the other side of the world. As long as you have your phone nearby and you both have an internet connection.
There are several possibilities in the app; you can, for instance, have the Domi 2 respond to music and sound. You can also use an alarm clock function, but that does not strike me as all that useful for a wand vibrator. With my phone the alarm function never works anyway, because after a few hours of inactivity the connection is gone. Oh, and there is a new function as of recently: speed mode. With that, the sex toy vibrates harder the harder you move. Nice on the train, for example, but the amazing Lovense Dolce is better suited to that than the Domi 2. Anyway, plenty of possibilities in the app.
Brilliant orgasms with the Lovense Domi 2
Personally I find the steady settings the very best, but there are also some patterns from other people that I like a lot. But steady settings or patterns, because the vibrations of the Domi 2 are so brilliant, I had a whole load of brilliant orgasms too. These really are the vibrations that do it for me. If it were up to me, every sex toy would vibrate like this one. Really, love it! I also always prefer a somewhat smaller head. That is genuinely personal preference, because I know plenty of people who actually like a big head on a wand vibrator. But for lovers of a small head, this wand is ideal.
Conclusion
I love the Lovense Domi 2. Last year I was already truly in love with the Lovense Dolce and now Lovense has made me this happy all over again. The vibrations really are brilliant and the possibilities in the app are endless. It feels lovely, it works easily, the connection is good. I can say nothing other than yay for Lovense!
